Nuns on the Bus in Connecticut
Nuns on the Bus & Friends from Network Advocates for Catholic Social Justice, stopped in New Haven, CT on Thursday, October 3rd and our Sr. June Fitzgerald was there to greet them. The bus tour is the first in six years and this time they are including “friends” on the bus who include men and women clergy, social justice advocates, and change makers. They gave an engaging and interactive presentation with a pre-election focus. All concluded the evening by chanting, “Everyone thrives – no exceptions.” Then, spilling out onto the New Haven green, Sisters signed the bus and sent the Nuns & Friends off with their blessing. Please go here for a few pictures from the day. You can find out more about the tour in Global Sisters Report.
