It was another memorable Planting Day at Shepherd's Corner this past Saturday.
A group of dedicated volunteers, including our Sisters, showed up in soggy weather to do the job at the wetlands area.

MDP hosts Faith in Public Life Discussion
The Martin De Porres Center drew in faith leaders today (Monday) to hear from Jeanne Lewis, CEO of Faith in Public Life.
Lewis touched on various issues including discerning one's role in the current political climate, reflecting and looking to God for answers, taking risks when necessary and building community.
Highlights included the importance of resiliency, refraining from judgement and finding ways to care for others during our current times.

Columbus turns Parisian
Friday, April 25th was perfect for a très magnifique trip to Paris for the Sisters at Mohun Care Center and The Columbus Motherhouse.
A little wine was sipped as the Sisters "visited" The Louvre, had caricatures drawn by caricature artist Jake Weisman and cuddled with two Parisian pups, Bailey and Princess.
A magnifique time was had by all and everyone was back in Columbus by supper time! Please see some trip pictures here.
