From the Leadership Team
The Leadership Team regularly reviews the policies of the congregation, found in our Policy Handbook. Recently we revised the driving policy for the congregation and added a new addendum from Christian Brothers.
In the near future Sisters will be receiving a copy of the revised policy from their Mission Group Coordinator.
The Policy Handbook of the congregation is located in the Private Pages of our website.

Peace & Justice Update
A Letter tells the Story
As we mark the third anniversary of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, it is important that we remember the truth of this war. Russia invaded Ukraine three years ago. In the words of Pope Francis, it is “a painful and shameful occasion for all humanity.
As the hope for peace continues, it is important to share accounts of what is happening now in that country. Please see this letter from Fr. Jaroslaw Krawiec, OP by clicking here.
Rosary for Peace
This evening at 7 p.m. there is an opportunity to pray the rosary with the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill. Go here to take part in the Rosary for Peace.

Honoring Black History in Kentucky
This year's theme to honor black history in St. Catharine, Kentucky was "African Americans and Labor."
Activities Director Danielle Nation found multiple ways for all to celebrate Black history.
Pictures and biographies of African Americans were located in various places throughout the house and everyone was challenged to locate and read them.
Tables in the dining room held homemade prayer cards and Associate Elaine Riley put together a beautiful puzzle, African Trailblazers, on the second floor porch.

From Our Founded Ministries
Dominican Learning Center Forum
It was an educational Sunday at the MDP Center -- when learners from the DLC had the chance to talk about their cultures with tutors and others who gathered to hear more about their lives and backgrounds. It was a day of sharing traditions and treasures from their cultures and ultimately, understanding each other a little better. Please see some pictures here from an informative day that helped build community.
In The Media
NCR online
The Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland were recently the subject of a report in the National Catholic Reporter. One of their Sisters was murdered years ago but they have dealt with it by forgiving. Please read the article here.
