Peace & Justice Update
Good Reading
Here's a great way to deal with the colder weather -- consider picking up a book by Sr. Jeanne Clark. She is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Amityville, New York.
Her first book was published at the age of 85! It is: All the Way In: A story of Activism, Incarceration and Organic Farming. She is a peace activist whose protests at the Pentagon and nonviolent resistance to the Trident nuclear submarine sometimes led to time in jail.
She is the founder of the Homecoming Farm and was a Pax Christi Long Island Peacemaker of the Year. You can find her books on Amazon and Orbis. Please go here for her picture and a quick look at the books.
