Sunday Highlights - Community Days
Community Days came to a conclusion on Sunday with warm embraces and well wishes to Sisters and Associates who were parting company and traveling home.
Reflections on faith and a special video tribute for Sisters and Associates who died during the past year was presented. Please go here to view.
Discussions continued on how to praise God through death and make death a "sister."
Facilitator Sr. Marge Kloos, SC, pointed to the projection of a butterfly on a conference room wall - a symbol of new life.
The group reflected on questions such as:
"What are ways we can witness hope, even as we are aware of loss, aging and letting go?"Comments followed on how those who have shared their charism and love with others have allowed their memory and good works to live on.
A beautiful Holy Trinity Mass marked the end of our Community Days celebration weekend, presided by Fr. Dan Millisor, OPA, that included a renewal of vows, Sister and Associate accompanists, and the Columbus Motherhouse Chime Choir.
A video of gratitude was presented at the conclusion of the Mass that can be found here.
Please also see some pictures from the day here.
All gathered then went forward to proclaim the Gospel with Hope and Joy, thankful for the time spent celebrating Community Days 2025.
