Standing Up Against the Budget Bill
Social justice advocates are calling Senators today (and all this week) to say, “Don’t pass a budget bill that harms our communities.”

Sr. Anne Lythgoe did her part and penned a letter on the dangers of the budget bill.

Summary - DVM Academy
The Dominican Educators Learning Community Academy (DELC) wrapped up last Friday at Ohio Dominican University and the Martin de Porres Center.
The Academy was attended by leaders, faculty, and staff from 16 Dominican schools across the country to explore the theme “Charism and Light: Carrying the Legacy of Dominican Catholic Education Together.” (The DELC is succeeding the Dominican Association of Secondary Schools.)
Dominican Sisters of Peace, Associates, and staff members, as well as representatives from Peace-founded schools, gave presentations and contributed to discussions.
Sr. Pat Twohill provided a keynote about being "charism carriers."

- Sr. Joye Gros (Gahanna, OH, joye.gros@oppeace.org) asks for remembrance in prayer for Fred Smith, who recently died. Fred was a benefactor of SAA-SDS in Memphis. Fred's wife, Diane, is also a friend and benefactor.
- Sr. Bernadette Campbell (Columbus, OH, Bernadette.Campbell@oppeace.org) has requested prayer for Kathy Mastorocco, whose husband passed away today. Dave was a brother-in-law to Sister Mary Faith Reaney.
