July 8 Webinar: Gun Violence Prevention
Please mark the calendar for July 8, 7 pm ET for the Nuns Against Gun Violence webinar, "Making Connections & Building Hope: Gun Violence Prevention in Missouri."
An interesting panel of advocates, working for change in a state with some of the worst gun laws in the United States, are participating.

Silent Retreat
Mother Boniface Spirituality Center is offering a 7 Day "Come & Rest Awhile" Silent Retreat July 20-27 on their peaceful grounds in Northeast Philadelphia.

The retreat is open to religious and laity with the option of daily Spiritual Direction. Registration will be open until July 6th.

LGBTQ+ Ministry
New Ways Ministry is seeking a woman religious interested in Catholic LGBTQ+ ministry and advocacy for full or part time employment.
The program involves developing resources, planning events, building relationships with constituents, and sharing in administrative duties.

Prayer Requests
- Sr. Carol Ann Spencer (Columbus, OH, carolann.spencer@oppeace.org) requests prayer for Associate Pat Gibboney, who died this week after a brief illness. Please also hold her extended family members in prayer as they mourn this great loss.
- Associate Carol Vachon (Waterford, MI, cavox44@hotmail.com) asks for prayer for Associate Carolann Moore who fell and broke her hip and leg. Carolann is now in rehabilitation, learning to walk again. The request is to also pray from Carolann's husband, Terry, who has been admitted to an assisted living facility.
- Staff member Brenda Graf (Columbus, OH, brenda.graf@mohun.org) requests prayer for her nephew, Shad Brickey, recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and for Brenda's sister, Anna, who is waiting to learn if treatment is possible for her son, Shad.
Updates/Notes of Gratitude
Associate and staff member Sheilia Horton-Carter (Columbus, OH, sheilia.horton-carter@oppeace.org) sends sincere thanks to everyone for the memorial cards sent in remembrance of her mother's passing. She says the hugs and kind words of encouragement meant more than anyone could imagine. Sheilia requests prayer for herself and her family during their final stage of closure that will happen next week.
