Peace & Justice Update
Friday, June 6: Wear Orange
Don't forget that this Friday, June 6 is Gun Violence Awareness Day.
PLEASE WEAR ORANGE and then take a photo of yourself (with others if possible).
The photos should be sent to either Sr. Gemma Doll (gemma.doll@oppeace.org) or Dee Holleran (dee.holleran@oppeace.org)
Let us pray, fast and advocate for gun safety and common-sense gun legislation.
We can prevent useless loss of life.

Many communities have local events June 6, 7 or 8th that you may want to show up for.

Storm Damage in Kentucky
A former staff member at Sansbury Care Center was seriously injured and her fiancée killed as a result of a tornado that touched down 10 miles from Sansbury on May 30, 2025. The storm hit with no warning, and while we were blessed that Sansbury did not have any damage, our prayers are with this former staffer and her family.
