Peace & Justice Update
Showing their Orange in Kentucky
St. Catharine Sisters were also part of the group who dressed in orange or wore orange ribbons to bring awareness to the issue of gun violence.
Many wore orange throughout the weekend in an effort to make a statement against gun violence.
Part of the purpose of the "wear orange" movement is to honor the survivors of gun violence and raise awareness of what has been called a public health crisis.

Peace and Justice Action Items
Call to Action in Ohio
Our Peace and Justice Leaders ask those in Ohio to write or call Governor DeWine now to prevent forcing police to serve as ICE agents.
Suggested talking points:-Protect police as community safety agents
-In Ohio police have worked hard to build community trust
-In Columbus, successful prosecution has risen because community members assist in police investigations
-Other States where police serve as ICE agents, neighborhood crime rises
-Community member’s trust in police erodes
-Crimes go underreported

Many thanks to all the Jubilarians for your lives of service and to all who gave their time to put Sunday's events together!
