From Sr. Pat Twohill, Prioress
New Mail from Rome
Sisters and Associates,
The Dominican meetings these days are rich and full. It will take some time to integrate all the content in order to share meaningfully.
Tuesday, May 13, 2025 concentrated on the younger cohort of our global Sisterhood.
150 Dominican Sisters from around the world participated in this leadership program via Zoom, and 4 Sisters spoke to the Assembly about their experience.
One of the four was ourSister, Pat Connick, who, as you can imagine, made us all very proud as she reflected on what she learned in the international program.
Sr. Pat Connick's reflection is found here for your enjoyment.

One Sister attending DSIC from the States has come down with Covid. I feel so bad for her. 😢
She is making a good recovery though and so far, no one else has gotten sick.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Love,
Pat

Additional Notes from Sr. Pat:
Sr. Mary, a young Sister from Gusau, made us proud with her presentation.
She explained the need for a digital database to keep the Dominican Sisters on the Continent better connected.
Go here for a picture from her talk.

And, please go here for picture of Sr. Mary Vuong and Sr. Ana Gonzalez with other Dominican Sisters at Caleruega, Spain in a program sponsored by DSIC, which was part of another presentation.

Sr. Anne Lythgoe addressed the Dominican Sisters International Confederation (DSIC) via video in Rome. Her presentation looked at non-governmental representatives at the United Nations and a growing Dominican influence.
