Upcoming Zoom and See Discernment
The vocations team will host a "Zoom and See Discernment Retreat” on Saturday, July 19, 2025, for single Catholic women 18 to 45 interested in discerning a call to religious life. 
This will be a special day of prayer, sharing, and discerning as we come together to “Sit at the Well with Jesus.”
Please help promote this retreat by:
1.      Copying and pasting the flyer link to your social media accounts. Please click here for the link.
2.    Sending the link to your parishes and asking the administrators to post it on their parish social media accounts.
3.    Printing the flyer to take to your parish or ministry site and asking them to post it in a prominent place.
The vocations team sends thanks and asks for prayer that discerning women will attend the program and for all those here who are preparing for the event.

Preaching in Action Event
The Dominican Sisters Conference tells us about the next College Preaching in Action Conference that begins May 20 in New York and invites all to join in prayer for the gathering.

Prayer Requests

  • Sr. Margie Davis (Columbus, OH, margie.davis@o​ppeace.org) requests prayer for a successful surgery for Sr. Esther Calderon (Tucson, AZ, Esther.Calderon​@oppeace.org). Sr. Esther's knee replacement procedure has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 21.
  •  Associate Marilyn Rhodes (Montgomery, AL, rhodesgrum@gmai​l.com) asks for prayer for a successful surgery and complete recovery for Associate Cathy Edelen (St. Catharine, KY, sce3845@gmail.c​om). Cathy's surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20.
  • Associate Karen Martens (Columbus, OH, karen.h.martens​@gmail.com) requests prayer for Associate Jay Jackson, in the hospital due to complications from cancer treatment. He is having a difficult time and needs prayer support.
  • Associate Rosie Clark (Westerville, OH, rosieclark4055@​att.net) has asked for prayer for her sister, Ann Forgrave of Newark St. Francis de Sales Parish, who is now in Hospice Care.
  • Staff member Dee Holleran (Columbus, OH, dholleran@oppea​ce.org) requests prayer for staff member Ashley Apollonio. Ashley and her husband Bryan welcomed Gio Quinn Hairston on Saturday, May 17. Everyone is healthy and well.
