The Vocations team is excited to share that we have arranged for each of our Motherhouses to receive the HORIZON magazine, an award-winning quarterly journal published by the National Religious Vocation Conference (NRVC) with timely articles on all aspects of vocation ministry and related topics within religious life. It is available now in the Motherhouses' libraries.
Death In Our Family
Please pray for the family of Sr Mary Michaeline Green (Metairie, LA, michaeline.green@oppeace.org). Her sister, Carol Ann Boudreaux, died this past Friday evening. Please keep Carol in your prayers, as well as Sr. Michaeline and her whole family.
Prayer Requests
- Sr. Teresa Tuite (Columbus OH, Teresa.Tuite@oppeace.org) requests prayer for her family. Her nephew-in-law Mike Brogan, age 56, died at home after a long battle with a brain tumor. Please especially pray for his wife Lisa and their two adult children Haley (Jordan) and Josh (Gretchen).
- Sr. Marilyn Pierson (St. Catharine, KY, marilyn.pierson@oppeace.org) asks for prayer for two friends of her niece, Janet. Please pray for Katie Bendon, whose brother was just diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Also please remember in prayer Katie Hyslop. Her stepbrother died of a massive heart attack while snorkeling in Belize because there was no health care nearby to help him, and on November 19th her ex-husband's daughter had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer.
