Memorial Mass at Columbus Motherhouse
The Memorial Mass held on November 2nd at the Columbus Motherhouse Chapel was a beautiful occasion that celebrated the memories of those we love.
Sr. Pat Twohill, OP welcomed everyone and the readings and intercessions from our Sisters, along with the music, beautiful candles and floral displays, all added special touches to the evening.

Niskayuna Sisters & Associates Remember Loved Ones
On Sunday, November 3, Sr. Sue Zemgulis,OP and the Associates of Our Lady of Grace Community in Niskayuna, NY gathered in house and online to remember our loved deceased Sisters and Associates during a small service, followed by refreshments and fellowship. Their names were read, and those who passed within the last year had special remembrance with lit candles. Memories were shared during the moving experience. Please see some photos of the day here.

Exceptional Farm Treat in Kentucky
Thank you to St. Catharine Farm Manager Danny Ray Spalding and his friends for providing a wonderful fish dinner to the Sisters at the Motherhouse this past Saturday. The fish came right from the lakes on the farm, too. Everyone was appreciative of the meal that included all the fixings! Please see a few photos here.

Helping Others in Columbus
Now is the time to take action to help those in need stay warm this winter. St. Stephen's Community Center is partnering with Swan Cleaners to provide gently used coats to those who need them. All you need to do is take the coats available to any Swan Cleaner in the area by Saturday, November 23. From there they will be cleaned and sent on to St. Stephen's, who will then distribute them. Coats for both children and adults are requested. Pass the word and please go here for more information.
Death In Our Family
The St. Catharine Motherhouse community is mourning the death of its switchboard receptionist, Debbie Wright, and her husband, Roy. They both died Saturday in an automobile accident.
Debbie ministered as Activities and Transportation Coordinator at the Motherhouse for 18 years and recentlycelebrated her 72nd birthday, and their wedding anniversary.
Before retirement, Roy was employed by Sansbury Care Center for a number of years in the maintenance department. Please keep their family in prayer during this time of tragic loss.

- Associate Joe Perez (Garden City, KS, joevp777@gmail.com) requests prayer for Aunt Lupe. She had spine surgery last Friday but is having issues and can’t walk yet.
- Sr. Amy McFrederick (St. Catharine, KY, amy.mcfrederick@oppeace.org) requests prayer for her friend Alex Acuff, who is 52 years old. He had a massive stroke and was sent to the hospital.
