We are Top Fundraisers!
Saturday, October 5 was a memorable day for our "Team Peace" - who is now being recognized as the top fundraiser in the Columbus 5K supporting CRIS (Community Refugee and Immigrant Services). Congratulations to our participants and thank you to all who contributed to our team's grand total of $3,950! More than $55,000 was raised all together during the 5K. St. Joseph's by-the-Sea Retreats
A series of retreats are being offered in 2025 at the St. Joesph's by-the-Sea Retreat House in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Please go here to see the variety of retreats and all the particulars involved. (The retreats are sponsored by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia).
Prayer Requests
- Sr. Gemma Doll (Columbus, OH, gemma.doll@oppeace.org) requests prayer for successful colon surgery for Kelly Leonard, scheduled for next week. Kelly is the OPPeace - Project manager for Davey's Tree and Lawn Company, in Columbus.
- Associate Janet Pohlmeier (St. Catharine, KY, pohlmeierjanet@gmail.com) requests prayer for her sister Mary who recently had surgery for the removal of a tumor the size of a ping-pong ball, in her brain. She is currently in physical therapy and the prayer request is for medical guidance in the next best steps.
Updates/Notes of GratitudeSr. Esther Calderon (Tucson, AZ, esther.calderon@oppeace.org) is grateful for everyone’s prayers in regard to a medical procedure. She says all the tests for a possible “mass”(which was actually a cyst) in the pancreas have been negative.
