Shepherd's Corner October Events
There is still some time to get in on some October events at Shepherd's Corner. Please take a look and consider taking part in these experiences:
Dusk Hike
Wednesday, October 23rd 7:00 pm - $5
This is a twilight fall walk through the woods on unimproved surfaces. In order for everyone to find enjoyment, as parts of the walk will be in silence, we are limiting this program to adults and teens. The walk will last about an hour. Please leave flashlights at home, only red lights are welcome. Go here for more on the hike.
Psalms and the Creative Spirit
Tuesday, October 29, 10:00 a.m. - noon - $5
Sisters may attend with no cost- we do ask that you register either online, by email, or by calling us at (614) 866-4302. Registration details follow here.
Explore a different approach to Scripture study for those who like to be creative or crafty. Psalms will be contemplated to find words that speak to us. (If you do not have a particular Psalm that is important to you feel free to bring an important phrase or quote that holds meaning to you.) Then the creativity begins - and no art skills are required! Materials will be provided, but you may bring markers, pens, colored pencils or a sketchbook if you would like. Please go here for an example of a project and click here for more information.
End of Harvest/Fall Labyrinth Walk
Wednesday, October 30th 7- 8:30 pm $5
Labyrinth walks are times for quiet reflection. Due to their nature, silent walking is encouraged. Our labyrinth is located on Wengert Road, at the second drive to the right. Please wear comfortable shoes. Everyone is welcome and no previous meditation or labyrinth walking experience is required. Click here for more details.
