The Passing of an Important Brother
We join our Dominican Family in Peru in prayer and in sadness at the death of our Gustavo Gutiérrez, OP. He was known as the father of Liberation Theology. Sr. Cathy Hilkert, OP, described Brother Gustavo as a true friend of the poor as well as a “friend of God and prophet.” May your soul meet the Liberador face to face and heart to heart.
